the nonrefundable tuition deposit must be submitted by may 1 in order to secure a scholarship. a deposit made later will cancel the scholarship.

academic merit scholarships are limited to eight consecutive semesters of full-time enrollment. the scholarship is guanranteed for the first four consecutive semesters, at the end of which a minimum cumulative gpa much be achieved and maintainted in order to renew the scholarship annually. specific details will be provided in the student's scholarship notification letter from the office of undergraduate admissions.

the scholarship is designed to reinforce temple's commitment to the community surrounding our main campus and to help increase access to higher education for talented students living there. this scholarship is typically given to strong academic students who may not have been offered other merit scholarships during the admissions review process. it is not a supplemental award.

scholarships are renewable for up to four continuous years for freshman and three continuous years for transfer students while maintaining a cumulative 3.0 grade point average and full-time enrollment (at least 12 credits).
