學習過程是一個信息互動的過程，它往往是以一種多向交叉的方式進行傳遞的。而小學合作學習就是以“學生”為中心，通過合作，加強學生的互動，讓小組成員在合作、互動中完成任務，這樣的過程更利于學生主動去獲取知識，提高學習能力。

首先，小組合作有利于學生互教互學，彼此交流信息。這不僅給小組成員提供了大量的發(fā)言和思想交流的機會，更能幫助學生樹立學習的自信心，激發(fā)學生參與寫作的興趣。

其次，小組合作學習中可以讓學生充分發(fā)揮自身的優(yōu)勢，調(diào)動學生的學習主動性，培養(yǎng)學生的合作意識和競爭意識，這更是學生學習主體地位得以體現(xiàn)的重要途徑。

二、小組合作學習在初中英語作文教學中的實施方式和步驟

小組合作寫作教學的一般步驟可以分為七個方面：
